Our Policy
Registration Process
1. Pay your application fee
2. Pay your 1 week deposit
3. Complete all forms and start school.
Application Fee
There is a one-time non-refundable application fee of $50 per child, required to reserve a spot for your child. There are no fees for submitting application for enrollment.
Tuition Deposit
A deposit equal to one week of your child’s tuition is required to enroll in the center. This amount will be applied to your child’s last week’s tuition payment. Failure to submit a written notice two weeks prior to withdrawal will result in forfeiture of your one-week deposit.
Tuition
Tuition is due every Monday 8:00 AM or when you drop off you child for that week. Payments received after Monday drop off will have a $10.00 per day fee. Failure to pay the complete balance by Wednesday can result in an interruption in your childcare services. Tuition includes all the meals.
Tuition: Infants (8 weeks - 24 months): $ 295; Toddlers (24 months - 4 years) : $235
Please inquire within for part time rates.
Meals
Morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack will be provided to the children following the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and is included in the tuition. There are no discounts even when you provide the meal.
Late Arrival
The opening and closing times are strictly observed. $1/min late charge will be assessed to all parents picking up children after 5:30 PM. Failure to pay late pickup charges or frequent late pickups may result in dismissal.
Return Check Fee
A fee of $45.00 plus any bank charges will be charged for any returned check. Cash or money orders will be required as payment for a returned check and all future tuition and fee payments.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
My Wonderworld Family Daycare is open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday thru Friday with the exception of vacations, sick leaves, and following holidays:
Holidays:
1. New Year’s Eve
2. New Year’s Day
3. Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.
4. Washington’s Birthday/President’s Day
5. Memorial Day
6. July 4th/ Independence Day
7.Labor Day Columbus Day
8.Thanksgiving Day
9. Friday after Thanksgiving
10.Christmas Day
Note: If the holiday falls on a Saturday daycare will be closed the Friday before, if the holiday falls on Sunday, daycare will be closed the Monday after. This is subject to change to our discretion and we might be open. So please check with us.
INCLIMENT WEATHER:
My Wonderwold Family daycare follows Prince Georges County Public Schools if closed, delayed, or early dismissal, the daycare will be as well. Should the daycare not open, or close early because of severe weather conditions, full tuition is due as per the contract. For early dismissal parents will be notified and will be given two hours to pick up child (ren). Late fees are assessed $1/min after the scheduled pick up time.
ABSENCES:
When children are absent from the center, whether due to illness or vacation, there is no reduction in tuition. No adjustments are made in tuition for missed days, holidays or snow days.
